Everytime I post on my blog I say I’m going to be better at posting. This time I’m not even going to go there because who knows when I’ll post again. Anyhow, I figured I had better talk about Independance Day. It was a lot of fun. My siblings that live in the states came to Logan to spend it with us. So, we had:
Lini-Lia and Lei
Poli-Meg, Kailei, Nana, Riki, Iuli
Me-Jon
Rina-Mani, Noa, Tui, PoPo
It was a full house! Luckily my MIL and my sister LOVE eachother because my sisters stayed at my in-laws and Poli and his family stayed with me and Jon. We kept very busy trying to do as much as possible while we were all together. We had bbq Friday night with my apartment people. Then watched fireworks from Patty and Erics lawn. Then we got to play with our own fireworks. Then on Saturday we woke up early (grumpy Rina and all) and went to a scout pancake breakfast. Then it was off to Hyrum, UT for the parade. It was so much fun watching the kids get excited about the parade. PoPo waved his little hand so hard at all the different people. It was cute too because our kids aren’t stingy at all. They’d get a candy and then go and share it with eachother. After the parade we chilled for a little bit. Then had sweet pork tacos at Patty and Erics with some homemade root beer. YUM! Then more fireworks. And then we went to sleep and everyone went home on Sunday.
I’m blessed with an amazing family (My family and Jon’s family) that loves and supports me and Jonathan. I love you all very much! I can’t wait to hang out again!
