Ok so it’s a new year and a fresh start, right? right! So, here’s to hoping I post more often than last year. A post isn’t a post without a picture. Here are a few pictures from Christmas.
This is a picture of our little Christmas tree. I bought it from Target and I LOVE it!

Everytime I post on my blog I say I’m going to be better at posting. This time I’m not even going to go there because who knows when I’ll post again. Anyhow, I figured I had better talk about Independance Day. It was a lot of fun. My siblings that live in the states came [...]

I have been trying for days now to get a class picture…and I FINALLY did it today!! The kids have been in school since May, but with illness and nap times we haven’t been able to get everyone in the picture. As you can see to your left, Julian, is sleeping. It’s a miracle he [...]

Another Craft…A Lovey

Posted by Berta On June - 4 - 2009

I’m sure you’re all sick of seeing the crafts I’m making, but that’s all I’ve done lately. I’ll post a recipe another time. Anyhow, this project was really easy. it’s small and just something for a baby to hold. Kim, my cousin-in-law, gave me the idea. She said it’s perfect for babies. All you do [...]

Another Craft Project: Mirrors!

Posted by Berta On May - 22 - 2009

A little over a year ago I bought 9 mirrors from Ikea for only 1.99 each. I stained the frames and left them outside to dry. Well, I ended up going to girls camp and totally forgot my frames were outside. Generally, that’s not a problem in August here in Utah because we don’t usually [...]

Hardware Ranch

This last weekend my sister and her daughters (also Rina’s daughter, Tui) came to visit us. It was so nice to have them in Logan. Jon tried to hard to get the baby, Lei, to love him…it never quite worked. Anyhow, today my in-laws called and invited us to go up the canyon and visit Hardware Ranch. It’s a refuge for elk in the area. So, we loaded up the kids and were off! It was really fun. We were able to ride into the field with all the elk on a horse drawn “sleigh”. It was fun to see how excited Tui and Lia were. What a fun end to a fun weekend.

This picture is of my lovely husband and his brand new ZuneHD. I personalized the back of it. I’d tell you what I wrote on the back, but my family would tease me to no end so I’ll just say it was something like, Merry Christmas! I love you! heehee. This was his absolute favorite gift. I love you Jonathan!

This picture is of myself (with really short hair…courtesy of Rina, my sister) displaying the lovely Asian style dishes Jonathan bought me for Christmas. Thanks babe! They’re beautiful!

Pictures from Easter ‘09

I was going thru the last few posts on my blog and realized I haven’t posted any Easter pictures. Here are a few of the pictures of the kids this Easter. It was nice. Lini’s family and Rina’s family drove to Logan and spent Easter with us. The kids were spoiled by my MIL “Aunty Patty” as all the kids call her. They love their Aunty Patty and Uncle Eric. This is the 2nd year Rina’s family has come for Easter. I think we’re going to start making a tradition out of it. Enjoy!

Jon and Berta July 4th 2009

Everytime I post on my blog I say I’m going to be better at posting. This time I’m not even going to go there because who knows when I’ll post again. Anyhow, I figured I had better talk about Independance Day. It was a lot of fun. My siblings that live in the states came to Logan to spend it with us. So, we had:

Lini-Lia and Lei

Poli-Meg, Kailei, Nana, Riki, Iuli

Me-Jon

Rina-Mani, Noa, Tui, PoPo

It was a full house! Luckily my MIL and my sister LOVE eachother because my sisters stayed at my in-laws and Poli and his family stayed with me and Jon. We kept very busy trying to do as much as possible while we were all together. We had bbq Friday night with my apartment people. Then watched fireworks from Patty and Erics lawn. Then we got to play with our own fireworks. Then on Saturday we woke up early (grumpy Rina and all) and went to a scout pancake breakfast. Then it was off to Hyrum, UT for the parade. It was so much fun watching the kids get excited about the parade. PoPo waved his little hand so hard at all the different people. It was cute too because our kids aren’t stingy at all. They’d get a candy and then go and share it with eachother. After the parade we chilled for a little bit. Then had sweet pork tacos at Patty and Erics with some homemade root beer. YUM! Then more fireworks. And then we went to sleep and everyone went home on Sunday.

I’m blessed with an amazing family (My family and Jon’s family) that loves and supports me and Jonathan. I love you all very much! I can’t wait to hang out again!

Infant Class 2009

I have been trying for days now to get a class picture…and I FINALLY did it today!! The kids have been in school since May, but with illness and nap times we haven’t been able to get everyone in the picture. As you can see to your left, Julian, is sleeping. It’s a miracle he fell asleep in the swing. Once I saw he was sleeping we hurried and got all the kids together. If you’re wondering why they look a little awe struck it’s because Lorena (teacher assistant & friend) is behind me making noise to get their attention. She did a FABULOUS job!! heehee. Anyhow, here are a few more pics…I just can’t get enough of these babies. They’re so freakin’ cute!!
