    I love reading your blog. You are an inspiration to me. I love how you have been cooking so much lately. I can’t wait to try some of your recipes. I They look so delicious. am also thrilled that you are so excited about getting a bag of flour for your food storage. I am glad that I am not the only one that gets thrilled over a small thing like that. Lets do FHE with the 72 hr. kits sometime over the break. Let me know what you think. We need to hang out over the break. Give me a call or text me. Here is a yummy recipe for Carmel Popcorn. I hope you like it. Enjoy! I normally double the recipe and pour the mixture over 2 big bowls of popcorn and 1 small bowl of popcorn. This is my Dad’s recipe and I love it. It is yummy.

    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo Syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 cube butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt

    Put all the ingredients above into a pan on the stove. Don’t stir after boiling has started. Boil to soft ball stage on your thermometer. Once it gets to the soft ball stage remove the pan from the stove. Add 1/2 tsp. baking soda. Stir it until it dissolves. Pour over approximately 5 quarts of popcorn.
