Blog Challenge: Day 02
Day 02 – A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest This was a hard one. I’m the type of person who seems to be close to everyone!! My family used to tease me about having so many best friends growing up. They even tried to make me pick one best friend. It was sooooooooooo hard because at that time I had two best friends: Janice and Christy. They would not let me choose both so I finally decided that Janice was my best friend and Christy was my sister. I love them both just the same! Anyhow, when I read the challenge for today I initially thought of Janice and Christy because I feel like I’ve known them my entire life, but I haven’t. Other than my family the person I’ve been closest with the longest is...

Day 01 - A picture of yourself with ten facts 1. I love my husband 2. I hate the feel of sand 3. I have weird fears: earthworms, clowns, and balloons 4. I love my job (I’m the Education Specialist at a Migrant Head Start) 5. I have the cutest nieces and nephews 6. I love to laugh and joke 7. I talk a lot (it’s like a nervous tick) 8. I hate my hair 9. I love technology, but I don’t allow it at the dinner table or in church 10. I can’t wait to play pranks on my kids (that’s probably why I don’t have any yet)

For Family Home Evening Jon got to choose what he wanted to do for our activity since we couldn’t make it to Grandma Somers’ house. I suggested we work on our budget and bills, etc. He, on the other hand, thought it would be much more fun to update my blog. So that’s what we did (we have a rule that the person not in charge of FHE cannot complain about what has been planned). Anyhow, I love change…so hopefully this will encourage me to actually use this blog and start posting again. I make no guarantees, but I will surely...

This last weekend my sister and her daughters (also Rina’s daughter, Tui) came to visit us. It was so nice to have them in Logan. Jon tried to hard to get the baby, Lei, to love him…it never quite worked. Anyhow, today my in-laws called and invited us to go up the canyon and visit Hardware Ranch. It’s a refuge for elk in the area. So, we loaded up the kids and were off! It was really fun. We were able to ride into the field with all the elk on a horse drawn “sleigh”. It was fun to see how excited Tui and Lia were. What a fun end to a fun weekend.
