project365-day-30

My pic of the day is of the flower arrangement Jon had on the dining room table for me when I got back from my class at 9pm. He’s so sweet. He buys me an arrangement with red gerber daisies for our anniversary every year. He had also picked up salads from Fredrico’s…it’s sentimental to us because that’s where we went on our first date. I love my husband with all my heart. He’s my best friend! We are content just being with eachother and no one else…which is not always the best thing…heehee. BUT we LOVE IT! Thank you Jonathan for loving me and always being there for me. I love you!

Last night after partying it up with the family for Patty’s b-day I came home to a gazillion (or so it seemed) hearts taped to my front door and all over my car. It was tuesday night and I knew it was because my Young Women love me! They also left a note (shown above) taped to a bag of valentine M&M’s. It was so very sweet. I love my girls very much! They’re the best YW ever!! heehee.

My picture of the day is of my MIL, Patty, because it’s her b-day! Isn’t she beautiful!?! We all went out to Olive Garden (she loves Olive Garden, but doesn’t get there too often) and then went to G-ma Somers for some cake and ice cream. We suprised her by having her siblings there to share some cake too. I couldn’t ask for a better MIL. She was kind of forced to love me because Jon and I were pretty much engaged right after we got home from our mission. We got home on a Thursday and the very next Monday Jon brought me home to meet the family. I’m sure she was freakin’ out and I don’t blame her. I would be freakin’ out too! Then Jon couldn’t live without me so he moved me to Logan at the end of December (I was living between Las Vegas and Pleasant Grove at the time) 2004 to live with his family. I really can’t even imagine what his parents were thinking. I remember asking Jon a gazillion times that he was sure his parents knew I was coming. I still don’t know if they were totally aware that I wasn’t just coming for a visit, but that I was coming to live with them. Anyhow…to get on with this post…Patty, Thank you for loving me and welcoming me into your family with open arms. I love you! Happy Birthday!

Project365-Day 26…too much STUFF!!

project365-day-26

Here’s my pic’ of the day! It’s of all the stuff I take to Rina’s for the weekend. Everytime we get our things together to go down to Orem I always say…”we’ve got so much stuff.” Unfortunately, this is the absolute bare minimum. Here’s what it all is: from the back (L-R) Laptop bag, duffle bag with clothing and toiletries, two pillows, two blankets, game bag (holds our spare xbox 360 games, controllers and zune), camera bag (digital SLR and video camera). There is one more thing that’s missing that we ALWAYS take to Rina’s…our Guitar Hero guitar. So anyway, I’ve been meaning to get a picture of all the junk we take…heehee. I’ll post more pics of our fun weekend later.
