Sugar Donut Muffins!

I was craving a donut this morning so I went online and found thisfabulous recipe from bakingbites.com. I love her recipes because they’re fairly easy and good! On the hunt for Caramel Popcorn!

On the hunt for Caramel Popcorn!

Growing up my Mom made the best caramel poporn. It was so sweet and buttery. It had the best texture. Unfortunately, I never paid attention to how she made it. Since I can’t ask her for the recipe I have decided to try and replicate it. I made some tonight that wasn’t right. This was realy good, but not what I was looking for. I’ll post the recipe for those who would like to try it. I’ll be sure to post when I find the right recipe. Enjoy!   Caramel Popcorn About 10 cups of popcorn (more or less depending on how you like it…I like less) 1 cup butter 2 cups brown sugar 1/2 cup corn syrup 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In medium sauce pan melt butter on medium heat. Add brown sugar, corn...

Project365-Day17…Ice Skating!!

Project365-Day17…Ice Skating!!

Here’s my pic of the day. Isn’t it fun! Me and a bunch of my co-workers met up at the ice skating rink today (since our school season is out so we had no work). It was so much fun! I only fell twice. lol. When I first got on the ice I honestly didn’t know if I would be able to skate at all because I was so unstable. I slowly worked up some courage and started to be the superstar skater that I am! lol…yeah right! heehee. Anyhow, thanks for a fun time ladies…and ben!...

Bread Sticks & Pizza Dough!

Bread Sticks & Pizza Dough!

This is my new favorite breadstick/pizza dough recipe! I found it on my new favorite website. When I was watching the video of how, Crystal (I’m pretty sure that’s her name), made this recipe I was intrigued because it was fast and easy. Since I had just purchased my first piece of food storage, a 25 Lbs bag of flour (not sure why that’s so exciting to me…but it is!), I decided I’d make this recipe. So, I made it with dinner last night and I promise you it was DELICIOUS! The only problem I had was that it made a lot. Jon and I ate less than 1/4 of the pan. I guess that wasn’t really a problem because we love left overs. However, I’ve decided that instead of making a full batch of bread sticks we’ll still...

What’s for dinner? Chicken Parmesan!

What’s for dinner? Chicken Parmesan!

I was going to make chicken fajita’s for dinner, but when I looked in the fridge I realized I had no cheese and no sour cream. A lot of people don’t like all that in their fajita’s but I do! Long story short…I was in a pickle. It was 5:30 and I still didn’t know what to have for dinner. So, I looked in my freezer and found that I had some breaded chicken that I had cooked in the past and froze. I then decided we were eating Chicken Parmesan. It also helped that I found a killer easy and good breadstick recipe online last night. But I’ll share that recipe tomorrow. I hope you try this! Enjoy!   Chicken Parmesan   4 boneless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness 1 egg 1/2 cup milk seasoned bread crumbs 2 to 3...

Project365-Day 14…my FAVORITE candy in the world!

Project365-Day 14…my FAVORITE candy in the world!

Good story to go along with this. Every year Jon would ask what I wanted for Christmas and I would say, “Just buy me some Ferrero Rocher.” And every year he would spend hundreds of dollars and not one peice of chocolate! Well this year we decided we were going to spend all our money on a Cannon Rebel XSI. Well, Jon couldn’t go without buying me something so he bough me 2 very large boxes of Ferrero Rocher. I think all together there were 96 pieces. He said it’s to make up for all the previous years!  heehee. He’s so funny. If you haven’t tried this yet you MUST! It’s...
