Happy B-Day Mom!
Today, June 4th, is my Mom’s B-day. I miss her very much. She loved like no other I’ve ever known. I don’t know anyone (personally) that had as much faith as she did. She is and always will be my inspiration. I pray one day I will be half the woman she was. I love you Mom! I miss you too much. Happy Birthday!

Ok…so my little sister Rina challenged me to take the project 365 challenge. Which pretty much means I need to take a picture a day and blog about it. Today marks the anniversary of my Mom’s death. So I wanted to dedicate this post to her. Mom, I LOVE YOU!! This is a picture I took of my Mom while she was undergoing treatment for her brain tumor in Maryland. The area her tumor was in caused her to have aphasia which defined is the inability to use or understand language (spoken or written). On this day she had an appointment to meet with her speech therapist to chart her progress. At the previous appointment she was given homework assignments to help with the aphasia. To anyone without aphasia they were very simple worksheets…a child could answer the questions. However, because of the aphasia she had such a hard time answering the questions.
