Another Craft…A Lovey
I’m sure you’re all sick of seeing the crafts I’m making, but that’s all I’ve done lately. I’ll post a recipe another time. Anyhow, this project was really easy. it’s small and just something for a baby to hold. Kim, my cousin-in-law, gave me the idea. She said it’s perfect for babies. All you do is get two pieces of fabric and different colored/textured ribbons and sew it up (ok…that’s very vague, but I’m too tired to think of how to explain it…sorry). My school closed down for the rest of the week and will be opening up on Tuesday because half the school is sick. So, I got to stay home and twittle my thumbs all day. ACTUALLY, I got a lot done. I baked four loves of bread, went and hung out with Kim (Jon’s 1st cousin Andy’s wife…they just moved into the apartments) and Campbell, her baby. I had so much fun playing with Campbell that I went home and made a stuffed giraffe. I’ve never made one before, but I’d seen them around. I hope it lasts for at least a week. Well, I had a FABULOUS Labor Day weekend. I cleaned/veg’d all day Sat. Then we drove to Orem and stayed with Rina and family until about 6pm then drove home. We were quite crafty this weekend. Rina had an idea of making baby booties and onesies. Let me know what you think! I think we may start making more. We’ll see how many more booties we make (in other words lets see how many I’m willing to sew since Rina doesn’t know how to sew yet… ). Anyhow, Rina also cut baby Popo’s hair.
